The Norfolk Coffee roastery is located in a 500 year old barn on Salle Moor Hall Farm, near Reepham.
We open to the public one or two mornings each week. Please check our Home Page for opening times.
Coffee Roaster
We roast our coffee in a Giesen W15A roaster which we have nicknamed “Sally”. The photo on the right shows Steve dropping roasted beans into the cooling tray.
“Sally” was built in November 2021 by the Dutch company, Giesen. This roaster allows us to make minute adjustments to the burner, air pressure, drum speed…in fact almost everything that might have even the smallest impact on the taste of the coffee during roasting. We say almost because we cannot control the weather…and that can have an affect on a roast.
We carefully roast all of our coffee by hand. No automation here!
We are in a peaceful location but it’s not too difficult to find us.
There are lots of car parking spaces at the farm and plenty of great walking and cycling routes through the farm and nearby.
