Our Jill-hooter Blend currently consists of 50% Samambaia (Brazil), 50% Kisinga (Uganda).
The flavour notes we get in the cup are milk chocolate, walnut and banana to give a sweet and creamy coffee.
Beans from the Samambaia farm in Brazil constitute 50% of this blend and give the distinct milk chocolatey notes.
The Kisinga beans in the blend are from Kisinga in Uganda. These add fruity notes to the blend, notably banana.
Jill-hooter is delicious as an espresso, long black or flat white and equally as good with a more milky drink such as a cappuccino or latte.
IN THE CUP: MILK CHOCOLATE / WALNUT / BANANA / SWEET
- 19g in
- 50g out
- in 30 – 35 seconds
- 60g per litre
- Steep for 4 minutes
- Stir and scoop off the crust
- Wait a further minute for grounds to settle
- Either pour slowly without plunging using the lid as a filter or
- Gently push the plunger the bottom and pour slowly.
